Testing the Waters in Illustrator

 

I've recently began working on my college degree.  Halfway through my first class I was already questioning my major, Graphic Design.  I'm debating on whether or not to change it to Photography.  I still have a few more classes I need to go through before I have to make my final decision.  

My current class is Microsoft Office 2007 where we are touching a bit on each of the Adobe programs in the CS4 Suite.  This is my first try at Illustrator.  Our assignment was to create a magazine cover associated with our major.  I'm behind in my assignments, so I did just the very basic requirements and quickly turned it in.

Our next assignment is to modify this assignment.  Let's see if my magazine cover gets any better.
