Once again I have decided to go back to school to get a degree in graphic design. Considering my age, I decided to go to Art Institute.

This will keep me focused and on track. This is also a lifetime dream of mine. This is a dream come true!
As much as I would love to attend a physical college with real life people to mingle with, I have to attend the on-line division due to my responsibilities at home with my mom.

If the future allows, I will transfer to The Art Institute of Orange County.

Already I'm having doubts about my major. Would I rather major in Photography? Would it be wiser to major in Interactive Media? I guess I better make a decision quick!
I'm taking the slow route to graduate. I'm taking it slow for two reasons. The first is that I don't know how much of a load I can carry at this time in my life. The second is because it's cheaper. I don't understand why, but it is and I'm going with it.
I'm on my second class right now. This one, Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office 2007), and the first one, Strategies for On-line Learning, don't have much to do with Graphic Design, but they are very useful and I'm learning a lot. When the second class started, AI still hadn't received my high school transcripts so they blocked me from my second class until they received them. The class had started and I still couldn't get in. I was calling the school and e-mailing my Academic Adviser daily trying to get some answers on what I can do to keep my education in motion. Finally, after over a week of pestering and four days into the class, I got in! I was so happy and so appreciative of this opportunity I have.
These past couple of days I've been busy catching up with the class. I'm almost there! I can't wait for the creative classes to start so I can feel like I'm more in my league.
