Tonight I met up with my MoVal cousins at Stewart Park in Beaumont, CA to see a FREE SHOW of Joan Jett and the Black Hearts!

This very well may have been the highlight of our evening.  At least one of them, for sure.

 

This isn't a very good picture of Joan Jett, but check out those arms!  BEAUTIFUL!  I'm going to work my arms out with weights.....tomorrow.

Rise Against!

I have to share this one thing that just happened.
I get those e-mails from Live Nation about what concerts are going on and when to get the tickets, etc.
I haven't been looking at them, because I just haven't been interested right now.
But, I just got one and thought I'd skim over it to see if Rise Against was going to be playing anywhere. That's who I want to see more than anyone right now.
So, I skim and I don't see them.
I'm kind of thankful, because then I won't have to worry about getting tickets and such.
Delete the e-mail.

My Dream Come True

After 28 years of seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in concert, my dream has finally come true!

I got to see them second row behind the pit.

It couldn't have been a better night.

OK, I could think of a few things that would have made it better.  I tried to get myself a press pass so I could bring in my DSLR camera with a honkin' lens.  I couldn't quite figure out how to do that.  #1 on my Bucket List.

And another thing that would have topped off the night, if I would have met Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  I MUST meet them before I die.  I just have to.  I want to write him another letter but I don't know what to say without scaring him!  LOL.

The show was absolutely excellent.  We wanted to, so bad, to get in the car and drive up to San Fransisco to see them perform again.
