This was a very f*cked up day. I thought I'd be able to handle this much easier than I am. Damn dog was crazy and drove me crazy. But he did have a TON of personality and energy. And he looked soooo cute when he slept. He was a very hard sleeper. He'd sleep right up next to my mom with his head on the pillow.
I've never had to make the decision to put an animal to 'sleep.' It sucked HUGELY. I never want to do that again. Poor Kramer. He wouldn't even look at me. He stood in the corner like this for a LOOONG time!
Poor baby. Look how skinny he looks. I sure miss the pup.
I've been reluctant in posting this because I feel like if I write this, then I guess it's true.
A while back, I was missing my kitty Beauty and I thought she was gone for good. But come to find out, she'd just been quiet and hiding out for about a week.
It's been over a week since Beast has been missing, but he is no quiet kitty. He's not one to find a dark hiding spot and sleep. Yes, he did sleep all day, but every night he would come downstairs or come in from being outside for a bit and MEEOOOW with the post guttural sound that seemed to never end.
My side gates to my back yard don't latch. When the wind blows, the doors open and slam shut. Even though I put a heavy rock in front of it, so it won't do that, it still makes a noise. Every time I hear it, I think it's Beast coming home.
Or I'll hear other noises outside. Maybe other cats from the neighborhood, skunks, raccoons. I begin to worry that Beast is somewhere stuck and can't get out.
Is he dead? How did he die? Did someone take him in? I would hope so. He was a pain in the ass, but I miss him like crazy and am very sad he's gone.
Every night, and I mean EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, Sam comes to me and MEOOOOWS real loud until I pick him up and hold him like a baby.
Remember my carpet bit, where I was saying that carpet is disgusting, etc. This is the work in progress because of the carpet we had to pull up.
One thing leads to another....I need new flooring for the stairs, hallway and a couple of rooms. But the stairs were built in 1967, they were the open type, where there was just a plank. Compare Carpets said they couldn't putting anything on them except carpet. Well that wasn't going to happen. So, I had to have the stairs remodeled. This is where we are as of right now. You can look and see the additional jobs that still need to be done.
* Stain the banister
* Paint the walls
* Put in flooring
Here's my latest layout. I copied, or I was 'inspired' by the cover of the *new* Close To My Heart catalog.
Are you my mother? I'm lost, but I'm at a good home where everybody loves me. But I'm sure my mom is missing me like crazy. Contact Robin, if you are my mother.
Rene' brought this little sweetie home when she went on a ***WALK***. He was out running around, getting missed my cars, so she carried him home. He's a wonderful dog. Much better trained than the three we already have. I'll be posting signs in the area I think she picked him up at. But I can't get to that until Thursday.
