About Me

I've been a stay-at-home mom for 17 years now. I worked the first year my son was born and have had only minimal part time jobs here and there.

After 2 years of my kids being in school, I pulled them out to home-school them. When they hit Jr. High age, they wanted to go to public school.

A few months after they started public school, my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. With my husband's blessing and encouragement, we brought her in to live with us.

Four years later, I am still my mom's caregiver.But, my husband and I split up. NOW, he thinks I should get a minimum wage job. He wasn't too keen on that when he lived with me and he would have to pitch in and help around the house.

I don't think it's financially doable with having to care for my mom. I would like to try to earn enough money to stay home with my mom and care for her.

To keep myself from going in-sane, I would like to earn an income doing something creative and brings enjoyment to myself.
